These are three Batik samples and one Print sample. To get the batik effect you use hot liquid waxed and draw with a tjanting tool on the paper, then you use one colour and cover the page in colour dyes then draw wax on the paper again this hold that first colour then repeat the process if you want. Then let all those inks dry and then iron off the wax with some newsprint repeat until the newsprint becomes clear. I love this technique as it gives a really nice and bright effect. The bottom right print is cartidge paper printed and then inked on top in strikes. I love this effect too.
