The Moroccan Exhibition!

My Exhibition photos....

The three below are my final piece...

These photos are my a few pages of my sheet work and also a few samples...

This is all my work up in the Exhibition and also a photo if me with it....

The Final Piece

My final piece is three Wall Hangings.

The first has a tie dye background with pink puff binder and normal blue infill.

The second is fabric making for this I used 4 layers of fabric I used my sewing machine to do this then I added buttons.

For the three'd of my wall hangings I used another tie dye like background with a purple outline and mint green and orange infill.

I lovey final pieces and cant wait to see them in my exhibition.

FMP: More Samples

These are my printing samples. I loved doing these but I don't like that some have miss printed in places.

These are fabric I have dyed for some samples.

My first ever print with this screen.

These two are the only prints that missed badly. (The two below)

I think this print went like this because I didn't put enough ink on the screen before I printed.

These three samples below are puff binder and I have mixed them with pigment so they are coloured.

These two samples are ink on paper.

FMP: Final Design Sheet

These are my Final Design Sheets. This shows different ways a could do my final piece. I like both these sheets because they give you a look to see what you would like your final piece to look like.

On this first sheet I used watercolours for my backgrounds of my wall hanging diagrams. I used pencil to draw everything and I went over some of it with a fine liner.

This is my second Final Design Sheet i prefer this design but I know my print isn't as busy as that I have drawn. On this page I have used pencil to draw everything I then drew round most of it with fine liner.

FMP: Development Sheets

These are my Development Sheets.

This is my First Development Sheet. On this sheet I used watercolours, gouache and fine liner, I loved using these materials together. As I said on my Visual sheets post I tried the large patterns and I preferred  theses larger patterns so I decided to use them on my Development Sheets.

I also used the larger patterns here but on this sheet I only used gouache and fine liner.

On this sheet I used Watercolours and Fine liner, I feel that this  is one of my best because I love this combination of watercolour and fine liner.

FMP: Samples

This is one of the samples I did in the half term break. This is my embroidery sample.

This is the second sample I did in the half term also but this is a needle felting sample but I tried to get the Moroccan pattern.

This is also a needle felting sample I did in the half term. I also tried getting the 'Moroccan Pattern' on this sample.

This is a tech ique that is new to me this is called Fabric Making and I loved doing this technique as it was something new to me. I loved using different materials all together. But this is made from goin fabric so it isn't fabric I have made.

This is also a fabric making sample but this sample was made from fabric I dyed. So with this sample I dyed the fabrics and got to choose my own colours, this ment I could match it with the colours I have used through this project.

Here you can see that with the sewing machine i use I wrote the words 'morocco' and 'henna'.

This is my catboats loom sample. On this sample I divided to use greens, yellows and browns with a little colour. I divided to use felt instead of the normal yarn. I like this sample as it looks Moroccan like.

This is also a cardboard loom sample I used also used felt in this. I love the effect I gives.

This is my one of my knitting sample.

FMP: Visual Sheets

These are my visual sheets.

On the first I used watercolours and fine liner. I really like this sheet but I later realised that these patterns would be way to small on a tracing so my next sheet would be with larger patterns.

On my second visual sheet I used watercolours, gouache and fine liner. As you can see this sheet is very different to the other this is because I wanted to paint some of the pattern so I have to make them bigger and I wouldnt be able to paint tiny patterns.
